With over 20 years in the legal field, George’s expertise lies in supporting
clients operating in sectors such as public utility services, regulated industries, public procurement,
capital markets, energy, Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFI), and the production and construction of
civil and industrial infrastructure. George has a proven track record in aiding clients with business reorganization
and restructuring.
George specializes in representing clients in complex legal cases, particularly in
situations where disputes cannot be resolved through mediation alone. He provides expert legal representation
in court, addressing the intricacies and challenges of each case. George has a strong and broad experience in litigations
involving players in the energy industry, referring to both the commercial relationships between market participants, as
protecting their rights in relation to adverse sanctioning decisions issued by the market regulator.
As part of his comprehensive background, George has been managing the legal department of a consortium focused on
public utility services, with a workforce exceeding 6,000 employees. In this capacity, he gained extensive legal awareness,
by overseeing a variety of critical topics, such as: Public Procurement Procedures, Public Utility Contracts, Investments
and Financing, Employee Restructuration and/or reorganization.
George graduated the Faculty of Law in 2003 and has a master in Labour Law since 2005.
