Chris fully advises companies entering the Romanian energy market, by outlining the main regulations and customs, by acquiring the electricity/natural gas power trading/supply/generation licenses and on managing the relationships with the regulator (ANRE), the market operator (OPCOM, BRM), and with the transmission operator (Transelectrica, Transgaz).
Chris has extensive experience on regulatory matters and a multidisciplinary approach, he thus provides continuous advice regarding the incessantly evolving regulations and assists clients in solving recurrent challenges referring to energy regulations, corporate governance, commercial agreements, contractual relationships, employment etc.
In addition, Chris is a seasoned litigator specializing in disputes within the business lawn energy sector. His expertise spans across all procedural aspects of trials, from initial filings to appeals, the enforcement of court rulings and insolvency procedures.
Chris holds an LLB from the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest, Romania.
Chris is a member of the Bucharest Bar.
He is fluent in English, has a certificate in French and basic knowledge of German as well as Cyrillic scripts.
