Corina Dinel-Stiarsky is head of the Dispute Resolution team, handling various complex matters aiming to ensure the best protection for our client’s businesses. Her focus is not just on the litigation procedure but also on alternative dispute resolution, such as negotiation, each path being carefully chosen from case to case and in accordance with the client’s best interest.

The most pressing needs of our clients, big players on the Romanian market, that involve her expertise as head of Dispute Resolution, are the issues of recovering amounts due by the debtors. Her involvement translates into handling the activity in the areas of creditors rights & insolvency procedure, forced execution, payment injunctions, fiscal and administrative litigations, reorganization and bankruptcy proceedings, with careful observation of specific regulations.

Regarding legal advisory, Corina provides day-to-day legal counseling in various legal fields, mostly related to: recovery of debts - insolvency procedures, forced executions, transactions, but also on other diverse matters, such as data protection, contract analysis for different services related to: energy supply, education, IT, healthcare.

Corina is also head of the Data Privacy & Security practice, advising clients on complex information management and data privacy issues. She has worked on several data related projects, including major data security incidents, large-scale privacy policies, online monitoring techniques, data localization and “big data”.

Corina’s expertise on data protection matters mainly consists in drafting and implementing procedures for companies in the field of Power, oil & gas, Information Technology, Healthcare, Hospitality & Leisure industries, Education, for compliance with the data privacy and security regulation (GDPR).

Corina holds an LLM – Criminal Law, University of Bucharest – Romania and a Law Degree – University of Bucharest – Romania.

Corina is member of the Bucharest Bar Association.

She is fluent in English and French.
